Our Puppies
At Cardinal’s Crossing Australian Labradoodles, our puppies are purposefully bred, intentionally raised, and thoughtfully placed.
Each litter begins long before puppies are born, with careful pedigree evaluation, comprehensive health testing, and temperament-focused pairing decisions.
Our goal is not simply to produce beautiful dogs.
Our goal is to raise stable, confident, and adaptable companions prepared for meaningful lives.
Purpose-Driven Breeding
Every pairing is selected with intention, prioritizing:
-
Temperament & emotional stability
-
Health & genetic compatibility
-
Structure & breed standard alignment
-
Service & therapy potential
-
Long-term soundness
Many of our pairings are chosen with service and therapy potential in mind, while also deeply valuing the role of exceptional family companions.
We believe temperament is the foundation of everything.
Raised In-Home With Intention
All puppies are raised in our home as part of daily life, not in kennels or detached facilities.
From the beginning, they are gently introduced to everyday experiences designed to build confidence and resilience.
Our early development practices include:
• Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
• Structured socialization and environmental exposure
• Age-appropriate enrichment activities
• Positive grooming desensitization
• Introduction to common household sounds and routines
• Early problem-solving opportunities
These experiences help create puppies who are adaptable, stable, and prepared to transition successfully into their new homes.
Temperament Evaluations & Matching
Prior to placement, puppies undergo temperament evaluations to assess confidence, sensitivity, engagement, and overall disposition.
Placement decisions are guided by compatibility, not simply color preference or order of selection.
We take time to understand each family’s lifestyle, goals, and expectations so that every puppy is placed where they are most likely to thrive.
Our focus is on lifelong success for both the puppy and the family.
Lifelong Support
Our commitment does not end at go-home day.
Families receive:
• Ongoing breeder mentorship
• Transition guidance
• Resource recommendations
• Continued support throughout the dog’s life
We care about every puppy we raise, from birth to their new home, and throughout their entire life.
Our Promise
We prioritize the health, well-being, and long-term success of every dog we bring into the world.
Purposefully bred.
Exceptionally loved.
Placed with care.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does your waitlist work?
Our waitlist is application-based. Once approved, families may secure a reservation spot with a deposit once a litter is confirmed.
Is placement first-come, first-served?
Deposit order is considered; however, final placement is determined through temperament matching to ensure the best long-term outcome.
When are deposits accepted?
Deposits are typically accepted once a litter is confirmed by ultrasound or after puppies are born, depending on the pairing.
Can I request a specific color or gender?
Preferences are noted, but temperament and compatibility take priority over color selection.
What happens if there isn’t a puppy match for our family?
Families may choose to remain on the waitlist for a future litter or have their deposit transferred in accordance with our policies.
Reservation Deposits
Once an application has been reviewed and approved, families may secure a reservation spot for a confirmed litter with a $500 reservation deposit.
This deposit:
• Is applied toward the total purchase price
• Secures your place on the reservation list
• Demonstrates mutual commitment between breeder and family
Reservation deposits are non-refundable, as they allow us to responsibly plan for each litter and its placements. However, in certain circumstances where a suitable match is not available, options for transfer to a future litter may be discussed.
The remaining balance is typically due when puppies are approximately 6–7 weeks of age, prior to final placement decisions and go-home preparation.
While deposit order is respected, final puppy assignments are made after temperament evaluations to ensure the most appropriate long-term match.
Our goal isn't just to reserve puppies, but to carefully match them with the homes where they'll thrive.
